180SX Engine.

Did they swich out the older S13 SR20 and put in the S14 on the later model 180's?  Did they upgrade the interior of the car during the later years also?  Thanks,

No, but that was my fault.  Did they put the S14 SR20DET into the 180SX after they stopped production of the S13 Silvia?  I know that there is a difference in the engines, and they are the same size, so did they switch?

No the Blacktop in the later model 180sx is just the same as a redtop but it is a blacktop it still has the same standard setup as a redtop.
