i had a bunch of pics of the swap in progress but it seems the film's came out bad think my camera had a crack in it or something all the pics came out fuzzy cant see anything :{
anyway's finaly got to drive my car today and wow it scares me at how much power is in this motor.
gotta take it easy for 3k miles or so so i can break it in and make sure no major issues pop up.
I will have some vids of the car up some time in the next week or so.

Go easy for three thousand miles? Are you kidding!?
1. The motor is already broken in.
2. Any problems will show up MUCH sooner than that.
3. Change the oil/filter again just to be safe and DRIVE!

If it isn't a brand new engine just drive it, and as far as far as major issues, you should notice if there are any relatively soon after you start driving it. If it's rebuilt then the break in depends on how tight/loose it was built.
EDIT: looks like SpeedMonkey beat me too it

Who did the swap for you? If you have a white s14 and the swap was done at G Dimension I saw your car. The motor looks like it belongs in the car because it fits so perfectly.

JPR:rl: I hate that damn place, that guy is a ripoff he sell things based on how intelligent you look. I was just there the other day. If you seem like an idiot he will jack up the prices, if you seem to look like you know what you want you will get it cheaper. Asshole, he try to scam a couple of my friends telling them different prices. That fool think we dont know what parts are worth, we're pro's on that. Also his clips are a bit on the expensive side. Hope you got a good deal tho!

well S14DB...thas a world of difference. thas serious stuff.(16mp)

handling doesnt seem any different to me
but i only have my stock ka to compare to
i know people who track RBs and say it's fine and even helps with some understeer that a KA/SR gives the car due to the lighter weight

Well here are some pictures i took today of my car and Ryan's
i hope the mods dont get mad, i know it's not the picture thread, but people asked for it so ill take the risk and post it here
here is Ryan's new heart
http://i2.tinypic.com/rc651v.jpg
the back
http://i2.tinypic.com/rc5381.jpg
also, for those of you who thought my write up on the throttle cable modification was confusing, here is another solution. make a new throttle cable bracket, not the easiest thing but it works
http://i2.tinypic.com/rc53ep.jpg
heres my car, you guys are probably wondering whats happening with it
http://i2.tinypic.com/rc502e.jpg
do my tires look wider?
http://i2.tinypic.com/rc520x.jpg
they should because i put Z32s on my rear! my tires were going bald and the rain scares me so i swapped on my friends z32's until my wheels come in
now for the videos, streetfire didnt seem to be working so i found this site to host it. hope it works out well
heres Ryan's car then my car
sorry it was dark in my garage so you cant see anything so i jsut walk back outside to check out his car
http://i1.zvhost.com/1/z/z1rlia7a.jpg (http://www.zippyvideos.com/6575255294287716/mvi_1828/*henry513)
while he was here i got bored and decided to throw on my HKS BOV so you guys could hear how it sounds. i like it so much better, but it kills the drivability.
http://i1.zvhost.com/1/q/q5ze326x.jpg (http://www.zippyvideos.com/4592398324287806/mvi_1829/*henry513)
and here is Ryan wasting some gas while he left
http://i1.zvhost.com/1/m/mc3s4kh3.jpg (http://www.zippyvideos.com/6351577424287746/mvi_1833/*henry513)
that's it for now
Enjoy!
Henry
edit: sorry but i dont know why the quality doesnt seem as good on the site compared to the originals i have on my computer. so turn up the volume on the last video to hear the BOV and turbo, but its good enough i suppose, i just need a new camera, any donations?

i used avi format. i assume it's the site because the quality difference is very noticable between my copy and the site. my camera is old and the quality isnt great, but its not THAT bad, i guess the site magnified the bad quality.
streetfire was down and that site was decent with my past videos, any suggestions for hosts from you guys?

Looks like Han just got a piece of sheet metal and drill+bent some sides up.
What bov are you using?
he is using stock, but if you were asking about the video where i recorded only the HKS bov, its this one
http://i2.tinypic.com/rgvxwp.jpg
old school HKS sequential BOV, i like it a lot better but cant recirculate, so i don't use it.
