hello. i am new to the forums. recently bought a 91 240sx with a blacktop SR20 engine/ecu/tranny, fmic, downpipe, catback, and the super fresh dented rear quarter panel.

my plans for the 240 are a drift learning tool and daily driver. i am wondering what are the first things i should take of. already set up an appointment to have the coolant flush/fill, brake pads/ebrake check, and an oil change. so whats next? the suspension is completely stock so i figured i would start with upgrades there, but as for maintenance i am not sure what my next step should be.

any suggestions.

learned its best to always wear one. as for searching, yes i am lazy, but this way i get more specific answers rather than finding one piece in one thread and another piece of info 12pages into another thread. plus i figured it was a little more interesting than just saying "hi-i am a newb".

Well, too bad you won't get spoonfed here. Just search for crying out loud.

is this your first car ever??...if yes, then i don't know what to say...buy the "idiots guide to car maintenance" or take it to your local dealership and have them do a major service on it...bring lube...

if no, then do what you would do on any car you just purchased...these arn't like special cars or anything...they are the same as anything else..fix what needs fixin and modify what you are unhappy with...

if you wanna drift get suspension, a diff, and a seat...you'll be set..
