How hard or is it possible to make an automatic tranny fast? I know turbo and nos but is it possible to get it to run a 12-14 1/4mile time? I need help quick im tired of being slow.
Best and most cost effective way to make your car faster would be to swap in a 5spd tranny.
Other than that, its just the usual go fast stuff...

fast auto is doable, after all, some of the higher torque and horsepower cars are perpusely made auto, so it's easier to handle.
but in you case, i think the auto has 1 less gear? and techincally speaking the auto is faster 'cause there's not fuel cutoff? maybe i'm wrong... <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
Auto's have lame acceleration but a higher top speed than a 5spd...

with some $$$ these guys (http://http://www.levelten.com/) have the stuff it takes to make your auto run a bit quicker...
a different torque converter can change a lot, but due to the way that your tranny works there will always be that inherent lag between flooring the pedal and hearing a chirp
virtually anything can be had with $$$...

fast auto is an oxymoron. spending money to make an auto fast is a waste of time because compared to other cars similarly equipped, but with a 5sp, you're slow as dog shit. and on the track you're even slower.
get a manual before you do anything.

levelten.com ...a modified auto tranny is good for real high hp drag...but for most cases and all other types of races u want a manual <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
