Yeah, and he (Carol Shelby) has nothing to do with it. He lost respect from a lot of Mustang owners I know by just slapping his signature on the car so they could sell it at a higher price.

They will probably come out with another 3 letter division in the next four or five years.

Maybe if SVT participated in motorsports like TRD and nismo do then they might have had more weight in the industry.

This is entirely not true.. I saw an interview of the man himself, and during the interview he specifically said that he is focusing all of his time on the new Shelby Mustang. He is not the type of guy that would allow his name to just be "slapped" on any car that he did not have any input on.

Also, in case anyone didn't realize, there hasn't been an SVT vehicle made since the 2004 model year.. No Cobra, no Focus, no Lightning.. Just because the badge is gone, doesn't mean that Ford will stop putting out "special vehicles" I like the sound of "Shelby Cobra" way better than SVT Cobra anyway...

SVT is gone, but Shelby is stepping back into the picture. Not just to slap his name on things either.

the rousch and saleen cars are overpriced crap unless you get the saleen351.

either way though, i could care less, i hate the new mustangs, i think they look terrible.

theres a saleen dealership by my house and they have the new saleen mustangs. they look real nice in person. i think i saw some saleen focus also, didnt know they made those.

the saleen focus came with a nitrous kit installed from the 'factory'. but rumor was that if you filled the bottle and sprayed it, it would void your warranty. lol.

but im highly dissapointed to see SVT go. im a fan of the cobras and lightnings. i would never buy a corvette, but i would absolutely love to have a cobra with a kenne bell. just my taste i suppose.
