Mothers chrome polish. It works on wheels, exhaust, trim, coins, bathroom fixtures, guns, that expensive silver set you stole from your vacationing neighbors and scratched CD's. Available at any auto-parts store in the wax aisle.

Comes in a small jar, just apply with one cloth in circular motion and wipe off with a clean cloth.

ok good , i have some of that stuff , i was also talking about that nasty black crap that like stains it from your exhaust gases??if the metal/chrome polish still works then don't bother re-posting it

for day to day cleaning, window cleaner works good on anything chrome/polished

then every month or so use a metal polish, or just any ol 1 step wax will work, but not as good.

You can also use GS-27 scratch remover. It helps to take off the black grime. You can also use it to get that nasty tarnish off your silver teapot too...:p
