ok tonight a friend and i rolled and pulled my rear fenders. unfortunately the right rear fender had issues with paint and the thickness of the metal so we could only get a 5mm or so pull. my question is, do the stock ruca's have enough camber adjustment so that my 17x9 +15 wheels with 245/40/17 tires fit? or is it time to get some aftermarket rucas?

i was pretty sure the stock rucas are not adjustable... hence the reason for buying aftermarket ones

i think they have a very limited range of adjustability.
right now the tires stick out about .5" past the fenders. i plan on lowering the car about 1-1.5" more

heat gun and try harder
and ruca
but plus 15 isnt even gnarly, you shouldnt need alot of crap, just roll it, make your car lower, and itll camber itself clearning the wheel fender thin

heat gun and try harder you say? omg! why didn't i think of this!?
no seriously, one of my fenders must have been previously patched - the metal is twice as thick as the other side. it's also thicker than any of the fenders xracer has done so far. it's so thick, the amount of force needed to pull it even 5mm has cause the paint to start cracking. the other side is fine, we could pull it 15mm probably

Just slam the bitch, should give u you 3-4 degrees of camber.
I dont have RUCAs, and I tried to align my car, I think best stock adjustment I could get to was like, 3.2 degress neg.

yea, after thinking about it and doing some more reading, it looks like the factory rucas don't have much adjustment at all. i think i will just try dropping it and seeing where i end up. although i think it is time for some rucas and rear toe arms

With my S14 slammed with no Rucas...the closest i can get with stock arms were in the range of -4.5 With just RUCA and no adj rear toe arm, i got it to within -3 before the stock toes were maxed out.

thank you, that helps a bit assuming s13 suspension has similar adjustability limits as the s14. it looks like once i lower the car more and mess with the camber a little bit the tires should clear the fender. then i will probably get toe arms and then ruca's.

just get rucas. you should have them anyway. when i slammed my s13, i had about -4.0 of camber. Now i have -2.5
