Hey everybody,

Just wondering if anybody has/knows of a site or anything where I can see some photos of an S14 with eibach sportline springs installed.

I am thinking of putting sportlines on my '97, but I've seen some photos of S14s with sportlines, and the rear looks a bit too low. I really want to stay away from the "tucked" look, but I like the fact that the sportlines are a bit stiffer than the pro-kits.

Also, has anybody with an S14 put in sportlines? If so, I would like an opinion on them. ie) are they too low? cause camber problems? bottom-out even with good shocks?

How about HKS Super Sport Springs? They lower the car 1.7" in the front and 0.5" in the rear. Make it look like a true muscle car =).

You have to ask though, are they stiff enough to justify the extra loss of suspension travel? &nbsp;Most people with their current modle will say no.

Aceinhole (IIRC) has their older model which was made a little differently (dono in what way) that worked a little better. &nbsp;Most people I've talked to that have the sportline springs say they are not stiff enough to justify the extra drop.

You will definately need camber correction, front and rear.

Because of the reduced suspension travel there is more chance of bottoming out (vs prokits or if the sportlines were stiffer), but with good (read: stiff) shocks, you shouldn't. &nbsp;I have never talked to someone with sportlines who has bottomed out, doesn't mean it won't happen though...

Just to note, my car is street only... no track racing, i just want something a little better for the street. So maybe bottoming with sportlines won't be a problem because I wont be driving track-aggressively?

Also, I take it that you would consider KYB AGXs good/stiff shocks? Thats what I'm thinking of putting in.

I think you're a lot more prone to bottoming out on the street from bumps and stuff then from weighting your outside wheels in a turn on a nice smooth track...

The reason for that is the HKS Springs are made for the SR not the KA. &nbsp;They don't really have springs for the US market so the ones that are sold are the same is in Japan.

Since the KA is heavier than the SR the fronts lowers more.

FYI... I don't think KYB has AGX for the S14 yet. Supposedly sometime this summer though. try koni's... those are pretty good, but you'll have do some minor adjustments and it's a pain adjusting the settings (from what I hear)

I'm looking to get Eibach Pro-Kit springs for my S13. The only problem is I am afraid of bottoming out and scraping - they lower it 1.8" in fromt and 1.6" in rear. Anyone have any experience with Pro-Kits on an S13<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

Yeah, I was going to wait for the AGXs to come out in a month or 2.

I think its worth the wait to save the cash over the Konis.
