I can't decide which springs to get on my S14! I'm going crazy!

I want them to be low (around 1.5"), but not too low (2" is too much).

Stiff but not too stiff for street (I had a Fiero - damn harsh *** ride). I want them to be at least bearable on the street, but awesome on the track.

And most definately, NOT TOO EXPENSIVE. I've found Eibach Pro-Kits for $179, and Suspension Techniques also for $179. I was going to get the Pro-Kits, but after reading some earlier posts, I'm thinking they may be not low enough and might be too soft. I've heard that the Suspension Tech springs are stiffer, therefore offering more performance, and are linear. The ST's I'm talking about lower the car 1.5". The only ST's I can find say they lower the car 1.3". Are these the same springs? They are called 'Sport Lowering Springs'.

Also, what about Intrax 'Sport Lowering Springs'? They are $212 @ Nopi and lower the car 1.75" all around.

What about Sprint 'Extreme Lowering Springs' for $191 also @ Nopi. They lower the car 1.8" all around.

Just a note: I plan on either using the stock shocks or buying cheapo-deapo ones for a couple weeks until I have saved enough money, then I will buy either KYB AGX or Tokico HP shocks/struts. Any suggestions on these?

I am in desperate need of help! Thank ya mucho!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't believe that is a possible combonation. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> [depending on your definition of "bearable"]

I've heard good things about KGMM springs. Dono where to get them though.

Also, I would just wait and do both springs and shocks at the same time. You run the risk of blowing your stock shocks with any aftermarket springs. Also the time and effort (or labor costs) of doing it separate would be twice as much than if you did them at the same time.
Just wait untill you have enough money and buy them at the same time...or just buy springs and let them sit in your room untill you can afford good shocks.

I have the money, but I am going to spend it on other upgrades. I will be getting some more money soon. Once I've done something once (installed springs) on a car, I can do it again (install shocks) in 1/2 the time and effort. "I don't mind".

Which would be better for fixing up the KA:
