Found one like razo but cheaper...

Should it fit fine. My worry is my s14 auto knob has a slight curve, and also all seems one piece sorta.

If any of you are familiar with this please let me know. I saw a girls sc400 in a mag while back, and I really like the style

Anyone? I did search, not asking about overdrive or none of that. Just wondering if the curve in the oem one will prevent it from working.

I realize not many people have autos.

Thanks for any help

The rod for the shifter is not curved. Its straight and should work fine. You will have to install a separate OD button unless that comes with it.

To clarify, the question to me is that: the rubber outside knob piece on the stock auto shifter is slightly curved so would it be a problem to install aftermarket shifter knob?

Answer:
The knob itself slides over a straight rod underneath. Therefore, the curved look on the knob in no way affects installation of the RAZO or similar knobs. There are screws in the front of the stock knob that needs to be removed to pull the knob out. The OD wire must be cut since it is directly attached to the knob.

It's an OBX Tomcat shifter.

I had it on the S14. In fact it's still on the Auto shifter sitting on a shelf. It's not worth the money. The O/D button sucks. You leave it on cause it's a pain to get it to click on and off.

Wow so many responses lol. I was suprised. I was expectin to get flame, like odn't waste out time or something like that lol.

Did the O/D button get stuck alot? I don't think this one is obx, even though they seem similar.

Well could you atleast turn o/d on, cause I always leave mine on regardless cause manual said so?

AGAIN as always, thanks for the help

nothing I'm just kindap icky on my interior. The leather is kinda faded, same with door panels. Not the biggest deal, but I'm always lookin at things I can improve on for some reason. But I can leave well enough alone if I have to, either way.

best improvement would be a manual shifter

:bowrofl:

That's true.

That said, the OD button problem isn't just on the cheap version... my Razo OD button wouldn't work either, after multiple attempts at different wiring configs. It sure does get lots of "Man, I love that shifter!" comments...

It sure does get lots of "Man, I love that shifter!" comments...From ricers and non car people... :(

Just find another stock shifter. I'm sure someone that did the MT conversion has a nice one laying around.
