6 speed trans

Im looking to put a 6 speed in my 240. How and were do i get one. Plus im also getting a rb25det from my Army bud in Japan. Is there a trany that will fit both or do they have removable bell housings, because i can have a bell made at a good price.

i believe an r-32 or r34 trannie will function as rwd trannies if front output shaft is not used. r-33 will always send tourqe to both shafts and sr trannies are one piece but im sure some could make a bell housing. im sure you would want to do this cause sr 6 speed will max as far a power it can hol sooner due to the added tourqe it will deliver over an sr  motor. but as this is obviosly a un charted area im not sure

the r33 gtr comes with a 6 speed tranny...thats most likly which will bolt straight up 2 the rb25det...since the r33 gtr uses the rb25det &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

if r-33 trannie is used the car will be slow as hell cause r-33 trannies always try to send power to the front wheels if they are not there the car will fill like a slipping clutch at all time but r-34 will send all all power to the rear if the active center diff is set up properly and has the same bolt pattern.
