IS Nismo part of Nissan?

Just wondering if Nismo is part of Nissan like TRD is a department of Toyota.

I'm pretty sure it is. I heard not too long ago that Nissan was going to start offering NISMO parts at dealerships.

yes the apocalypse is upon us..  turbos will fall from the sky...  240sx, maximas, 350z, GT-R, Skylines, Sentra Se-rs, will bring terror to the streets hondas will run and hide behind their nsxs and s2000s only for them to fall to the greatness that is Nissan Motorsports.

you'll be buying parts from a nissan DEALER dude, and they will be nismo parts... so you wont be getting away cheap...its not a big deal...

It will create a better market for aftermarket parts, and get Nissan a better seat in the import performance scene. &nbsp;It's the same reason for Mugen, Comptech, TRD, etc... &nbsp;

I never said Cheap.. &nbsp;Quality parts are never cheap. &nbsp;Just Less expensive than importing the same products. &nbsp;

I just hope they will support the older motors like the KA?

Yes NISMO is a department of Nissan. In japan Nismo is a factory up grade. You can get nismo shocks, racing clutch, body kits, pillar meters dash meter kits, seats, rims, anything you can think of you can get it.

Just like Subaru you can get Sti upgrades from the factory all parts listed above. Also TRD is the same way.

Over here if you buy the options with the car they are relitivly cheap.
