tax refund question

Ok, I made $4,005 this year. Its the first year ive worked so im not sure how much i should get back. My friend worked like 4 months and he says hes gonna get around 200. He says you get the federal and the state tax back, all of it. I was just wondering if he was right, because if he is, i should get like 500 something back.

you dont get it all back and sometimes you have to pay money depending if they took the right amount out or not.

You wont get everything back but since you made so little you're going to get some good money back for what you made, Ask you're tax perpairer which form you can use to tap into the most you can get back.

your AGI will be extremely low, so you should be able to get most of your taxes money back.

Check your withholdings, how much is that?

Just do a simple 1040EZ, and call it a day.
