My engine seems to not start up unless i give it gas. Sometimes even that doesnt work. My friend took the fuel pump fuse out and it started we let it die out and then we can start it again. I have no idea wat could be wrong with it it seems to keep flooding. Any advice would be helpful, if i cant seem to find out wat is wrong i will take it to Redshift.
I am short of money till next week so cant take it to redshift.
Thanks in Advance
Erik

is this SR carbed? lol. .. .because I was lead to believe fuel injected engines couldn't be flooded technnically unless you turn the engine over to many times without actually trying to start the engine in full?
Anyhow, try checking all grounds, in a recent SR install I witnessed, the issues we dealt with were similar only the "give-it-gas" point wasn't used, we just troubleshot the electrical back to the grounds, made sure they were solid in placement, and made sure the spark was being recieved consistantly to the plugwires & plugs upon ignition. .. .so try that & let us know
might save that Redshift money for a couple a upgrades

leaky fuel injectors, leaky fuel pressure regulator. quick and free check, pull the fuel rail off the manifold, have someone put the key to the on position. repeat 10 times, cycling the fuel pump to build pressure. I suspect you will see fuel leaking past the injector in one or 2 cylinders. If thats the case, replace the orings.
