hub bearing question

I got 300zx non turbo rear hubs from a junk yard a few weeks ago and installed them on my 93 coupe, I noticed that the rear left wheel would move side to side. I have read where this could be due to bad bearings. I wanted to know if I could take hub out of the 300zx spindle flange and press it into the original 240sx spindle flange. It would save alot in money if this is possible. Thanks for the help.

The hub and spindle are not one peice. There are 4 bolts holding the hub to the spindle. Buy new bearings (~$80 from mynismo) and be done with it.

I know there are 2 pieces, the part that has the 4 bolts wiht bearings in it and the part where the wheel goes on. Can you take the 5 lug part that the wheel bolts to (hub) from the part that bolts to the car (spindle flange). Is that what the names of them are. I am new to this so I may seem stupid to what they are called. I didnt know if you could just take the hub out of the 300zx flange and bearings then press it into the original 240 flange and bearings? Thanks

Yes, the hub is pressed into the bearing. You can press the Z32 hub directly into your S13 bearing, just make sure you have a sizable press and the proper size drifts to press with. Also do not press past the limit or you'll damage the bearing and keep it from turning freely.
