What's up guys. I just bought an 89 coupe, automatic, base model. here's what we did to it. We put ka24de from a 96, 5 speed swap. The engine fire up and everything, BUT none of the electrical work. The only light that come on is the headlight, however, the head light doesn't flip up. We are using the top harness from 1992 240 5spd and the lowe harness from the car. The light didn't came on since we got the car. Also, the battery light is on as well. We check all the fuses got voltage but still no light at all(interior, brake light, signal lights, dash light, blower, absolutely nothing.) what do you guys think? After 3 days of work . I just can't think anymore. Please help

try checking the dimmer switch to see if its plugged in. thats a common for control for your interior lights.

Wiring a 96 into an s13 is not an easy task.
Trust me. I have this horrid motor/chassis combination.

I would swap the head for an s13 head and electronics.

No fuss no muss.

Oh and if it's interior you're worried about, you need to splice in 2 plugs BESIDE the big ecu plug on the interior.

Yes Maeda, I am. but like I said..its not JUST the interior lights..it is the entire car. the only light that work are the head lights... and it won't even flip up.
and which plug exactly are u talking about?? is it the plugs by the fuse box?? the only plug by the ECU that needed to be modified was the plug for the cluster ( which i modified that, like i did on any other swap I've done color match every wires). and I have never had this problems on other engine swap. My car did something similar to this. It was a bad voltage regulator. Got a new alternator and it worked.

How's your voltage regulator?
