i have a s14 with a viper car alarm that ive had in it for 2 years with no problems. i havent touched anything electrical on the car in months. i go to get in my car this morning, and i push the fob button to unlock my doors, and i hear nothing. the car battery i know is not dead, and th light on the fob is illuminating. i get my spare fob, still nothing. so i put the key in the door and manually unlock it. ok, im in the car. alarm starts going off. i put the key in the ignition, and of course it wont start because of the alarm.
what do i do?
the manual with the alarm explains nothing..and i need the car to get to work and class tomorrow
let me know guys asap please!

Put the alarm in valet mode, should be a switch or pushbutton somewhere under the dash. You can also pull the main fuse from the alarm.

^ Look for this first. Somtimes if you pull main fuse you still might be stuck, look under the dash for where the alarm is spliced into the start switch. Ussally you can hook those back together and get the car started. If this bothers you call the place that installed and get info from them, your manual should tell you what wires.

Another good thing is to leave the key in the on position "like radio etc etc" and disconnect the battery wait a good 5 mins and reconnect it while leaving the key on. My audiovox prestige fell for this one, however the clifford on my 200SX will once in a while just stop responding to the remote however if I disconnect the battery and reconnect it, 1/10 times it wont go off and plain and simple just not continue to work but if you remove the negative terminal and reconnect it, it'll blow your ears off your head when it does work. Weird I know, but this is my experience.

Try taking it to a shop that usually installs Viper alarms. They will most likely know which model it is and how to fix it.
I say just remove it completely. It's usually more trouble than it's worth. If people want to steal your car they can disarm the alarm in about 10 seconds. Plus nobody gives a crap when it goes off any way.
