My girlfriend and I have a 1997 240sx SE with an automatic. I was informed by my local hook-up at the bone yard that he has a totalled out 1997 240sx with a perfectly good 5-speed tranny in it. I can have the tranny and anything else I should need for about $300. Do I need anything else besides the tranny, shifter and center counsel?? Is this even possible?? Feedback is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!

am I the only one who think's it better to just buy another engine, and swap your KA24, with another one, but manual! they run pretty cheap, you can get one with less miles on it, you can easily find sumthing from somebody with an sr20, or ca18 or whatever swap, and buy it reallly cheap! no work trying to find all the parts! only think you have to do it go to a junk yark to get the pedal and the stuff! check!
