I went to pep boys to get my alignment done on my 93 240sx and they said that they couldn't align the front right because it was unalignable - either the frame was bent or the control arm was bent. My question is should I just replace the control arm(lower I assume) or should I waste 150-400$ on a frame shop to make sure that's not the problem first? That was the price quoted to me by 3 shops in Norfolk Va. I live in Phila, PA so if you guys know of any cheaper frame shops that be awesome too or any other ideas. I don't think it's the frame because I checked car fax and the car never has been in an accident based on that and I've never hit anything with it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance.

Did they tell you what was out of spec? What they couldn't adjust?

yeah my friend works at pepboys as a sales rep, he said the mechanics are dumb fucks like using impact wrench on a oil drain bolt and something about only one mech being really certified.. but yeah if i were you get an opinion by a alignment shop that only does alignment, or a trusted tire shop.
jdmsilvia909- your car looks like 100% the same as my friend alvin's car, same paint, rims, front end, haha

I am with XKA..get a second opinion from a alignment shop that will tell you EXACTLY what is wrong.

Get adjustable arms and take it to a good alignment shop, most 240's dont line up to spec anymore.

if you look in the FSM itll show you a way to measure your frame to see if it is in spec....
