It sort of sounds like launch control. It allows you to build boost off the line. BUt besides that: the kill stickers are hillarious.

That my friends is a F**king idiot that does not know how to launch a 4wheel drive sports sedan properly, I seen wrx's Evo's and 3000gts hold the revs up high for less than 2 seconds and drop the clutch fast thats how you properly launch a 4wd car off the line. That moron is going to destroy that evo which he is so not worthey of having.:mrmeph:

Street racing is not condoned on Zilvia.net. Also you don't have to creare a new thread for every video you find that you think is cool. Take the time to find a couple and put them in one thread. I'd prefer if you found something more constructive to post then a different video every day though.

If the idiot can afford to get an evo to 500 hp, even though its only at 24 psi...(sarcasm) I think its safe to say he can afford anything that can replace whatever he's going to break.:2f2f:

That sounds like hes running a perfect launch, or 2 step rev limiter to build boost. Something like this: http://www.importintelligence.com/FMPro?-DB=cart.fp3&-Format=PLaunch.html&-Token=12783519&-RecID=12783519&CustID=PerfectLaunch&-Edit They even have a video of it in action.

Revving a turbo car in Neutral doesn't really build boost since there is no load on the engine, but a rev limiter creates a load, which in turn helps build boost. A 2 step rev limiter isn't as bad on a motor as a stock rev limiter because it is activated at a lower RPM than stock, and it cuts both fuel and spark, not just fuel. Once the clutch is released, the 2 step is turned off through a clutch switch, and the stock rev limiter is returned.

yeah, that's how they launch those fuckers. I didn't watch the video to see how long he was holding it though, so maybe he does suck
