Max output from 440Injectors in a redtop

I have looked around but I can not find this info anywhere
I was thinking about tossing in some DSm injectors with my redtop sr and S15 T28 but I am not sure what is the Max psi I could run on the turbo before i hit max dutycycle.

any answers for me here??

440s will max out around 260-270 whp.

And DSM injectors are 450s...

Well, 480's (S15) injectors can handle upwards of 325WHP. So I think with 440's you could push a bit more then 260-270WHP. I'd say closer to 300WHP. As always, it must be tuned correctly.

I am sure you COULD squeeze a little more out of them, but running higher than 90% duty cycle isn't very safe.

310 crank HP ~ 265whp (15% drivetrain loss)
BSFC = .60 for turbo cars
93% duty cycle on the injectors
18 pounds of boost

That setup would require 444cc injectors. With 450s, duty cycle would be at 92%.

I have seen injectors measire over 100% duty cycle on my friends power FC. not smart, but yah 80-85% is a good safe route to go. Don't want your injectors working 90% of the max capacity all the time, would you??

to fully take advantage of an s15 t28, consider 550's and call it a day : )

I am sure you can run 1.0 Bar safe for awhile and not be at the end of the injectors duty cycle...550's are the best bet for the S15 T28 running 1.2 Bar..
