Widest tire on oem rims?

Hello everyone, I did some searching and found that the factory 15x6 7spoke rims came with 195/60/15. My question is, what is the widest tire size that I can go with? 205/55/15 or wider? I plan to lower my car soon so a 55 series tire should be fine right? I would greatly appreciate any and all comments! Thanks in advance!!!

i thought SE's came with 205's stock.

anyways, 205 is good. i wouldn't go much more than that. 215 is pushing it.
as for sidewall, 55 will be stiffer than 60, but your overall diameter will be a little smaller than stock. that's why, usually, wheel size goes up as sidewall profile goes down.

215 would be my ideal selection for a 6. Maybe 205 but I like squeezing as much as I can without bulge.
