is this a ka or sr driveshaft i know the Single Cam ka driveshaft for sure is shorter, if bolted to an sr tranny it will leak tranny fluid where it bolts up to the tranny. if u can confirm its is the extra length for the sr i may be intrested thanx

Its the same driveshaft that is in my car. I have a redtop SR20det. My chassis is setup with no ABS and no hicas. The Hicas models had ABS and some non-hicas models had ABS. If your car has ABS then the housing on the differential is a little longer and this particular driveshaft will be too long. However, if you can wait a while, I can get an ABS equipt car driveshaft.
If your car does not have ABS and is not a HICAS model, this driveshaft will fit your car, KA or SR, it should be the same.

I don't know. My 240 is so loud I can't hear anything else but the open downpipe. I'll let you know once I get mine muffled.

I installed an SR in my first S13: 90 hatch 5-speed non-abs. No problems.
If you'd only had this a week earlier. I picked up my one piece steel driveshaft yesterday...

Sounds to me like your rear seal on the transmission is faulty. You should have about 3/4 inch of yoke sticking out of the back of the transmission. The slip yoke is not designed to be flush with the seal on the transmission. Plus, if it were flush, you would never get the driveshaft over the pinion nut on the differiential. It's supposed to stick out a little from the transmission, but its not supposed to leak like that. Check into a new seal, it should be cheap and pretty easy to change.
You have the same setup as me sc ka24e, it would definately work in your car.

sure you can ask that. I have a local company make them for me. It's my driveshaft. Call it a TED driveshaft. I'm working on doing a torsion test on one right now. I'll post up again when I get the ultimate torque limit on it. It should be as strong as the competition.
