Engine problem HELP!

Hi, I have a 95 240sx Auto (i know it sucks)
But i was driving my friend to work this afternoon and the car runs great...but on the way back all of a sudden the exhaust note started to sound like a WRX's and the engine has like 1/5th the power it normally would have, it doesnt pull at all, im really worried that the car is going to die..im gonna go out and check the distributor and the cords..does anyone have any answers for this..it just happened all of a sudden with no warning at all..thanks

ok well i checked everything and im not sure what the problem is still, the car sat for 2 days and when i started it up it was running fine..but after heatup it started to run on 3 cylinders again..any suggestions? i dont want to waste money on shit i already replaced..thanks
