Check your exhaust hangers... you might just have a broken one that is letting the exhaust bang around in the back. You can get them fro $14 per from www.courtesynissan.com

There's also a brace at the front of the diff (it's not abetween the body and the diff like some people suspect) that has 4 bushings that you can replace. It's really quite easy to do, and the bushings are only about $25 for the set (OEM).

If neither of these options fixes your issue then you're likely looking at something inside the differential. Is it noisy during travel (low whining noise that's not tread noise)? While you're under the car replacing bushings, replace your diff fluid (Red Line makes good fluid, $$ but worth it) and see if that helps.

If all of that fails you might also want to pull the carpet out of the trunk area, along the walls. Theres a HUGE open space there along the fender wall. One side has the jack mounted there, it might be loose. Or someone might have dropped a screw driver or bit or some other shit back in there, or your spare tire might also be loose. I know it sounds retarded but I've dropped crap in the fender wall and heard a "Mysterious" noise in the back of the car, until I realized I couldnt find a few of my hex sockets.... and some cheetos... and a golf ball... and my mail...

No its not the spare tire and Im not hearing any whining noises its very quit while driving and it goes into gears really nicely so i think its def some bushing some where is busted my dad is a mech and said the 2 sub frame bushing on each side of the rear are busted completly so thats prolly it.
