Car started up fine, then died and wont start back up. SAFC is still on when the key is removed from the ignition?
So this morning i go out and start up my car, it starts up fine then while it was warming up it choked a little then caught itself and idled fine. I drive it to the service station to put soem air in the tires and grab a few things. Get back in the car start it up, let it idle then it died. turned the key again and it just cranks over but wont start. Then i noticed that my SAFC was still on when i pulled the key out. Has anyone ever had this happen or have any Ideas what i should be checking for? This is a '91 S13 2oosx. UK spec with ca18det. Also i think my turbine seals are going bad as it had started smoking a few days ago, i will check my intercooler pipes tomorow to see if theres any oil in them, do you think this could have fouled out my plugs?? still doesnt explain why my SAFC is still on though?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as im supposed to be selling the car to someone in 2 weeks.
Thanks
Dan
