hey, my friends dad has a friend selling a s13 for only 600 bucks. so right away i ask whats wrong, my friend says nothing. then i thought, he might be telling the truth bcuz hes a rich guy, so probly will just wanna get rid of it. so i told my friend to go home and find out the details.
heres wat i found out so far...
Miles: 194k
Some dents
needs sunroof replaced
and runs fine
for 600 bucks doesnt that sound good? i know the miles are high, but its an older guy and im pretty sure he didnt drive the hell out of it, so it still does have life right? it wouldnt be waste to get it? and i told my friend just now to find out if hes the only owner. so ill know shortly. remember only for 600 bucks... hows that sound?

you live in florida, check the body for any type of rust or, sediment from the sunroof be damaged. .. .
Check for the minor shit always, never take word from anyone. .. .go check it yahself and save youself $6 bills if possible, it sounds almost to good to be true depending on what you're looking to do with the chassis.

well, no matter how much or little you spend on buying a car, itll always have problems; regardless of price, friends, gender of previous owner, etc...after all, its still a used car...so for 6, it wouldnt be too bad, but i just hope that you have consistent cash flow, because it does take a lot to make a car that your comfortable commuting/drifting/tracking/beating the hell outta/what have you with...at least thats the case for me...ive poured countless Gs into my fixer upper and im still not all the way comfortable with it...but then again, i am known to be rather anal and insecure...
just know that 240s (esp. s13s) are a dime a dozen...so there will always be better deals out there...

shells go for 3-500 so 600 for a running car is actually a good deal in my book.
the only down side is that it may be a sohc, not sure since u didnt state the year

Just make sure that the body/chassis is okay from rust. Buy an SR20/RB or a KA motorset, throw some decent spring/struts on there...make sure the rest of the suspension is okay, and rock that bitch :w00t:

it's a no brainer...buy it, drive it, drift it, wreck it....buy another and transfer parts...all these cars are is really a place to put aftermarket parts for awhile...don't stress the little things if it runs well...you're gonna be beating the hell out of it anyway, right?
