A buddy of mine picked up a pair of cheap 17x8.5's for less than a bill. He asked me about how they'd fit on his s14, but I have no clue, just because I'm not too familiar with offsets. Here's the problem, they're +48 offset. Please no stupid remarks (like 'oh he's a dumbass, high offset, blahblahblah') I already know the offset is high. I'm just trying to make this quick to find out & tell my friend what he should do to make em fit "nicely". Oh yeah, he plans on putting them on the rear.. & he has coilovers. Thanks in the meantime.

theyre gonna fit like shit...the inner will be 33MMs less than stock s14 fives...they will most likely hit his coils, be sunk, and not fit "nicely." so like dousan said, tell your friend to start looking up prices for some kics/h&rs...either that, or start looking into relipping them (assuming the possibility that theyre multi piece) considering hes buying them at less than $50 a pc...

Sunken battleship we got there Vinh. Like Dousan said, 30mm minimum. Tell him to get some extended Nismo studs while he's at it.
