German S14 headlight question

im trying to finish up my s14 zenki conversion on my hatch and i had a question. I searched i swear ive seen pics b4 but couldnt find what i was looking for.

well basicially do german s14s come with glass or clear cornering lights? i will be using j30 dual projector headlights and using s14 stock corner lamps is gonna look kinda ugly. i know theres an aftermarket company that also makes them but i cant remember the name so yea if you guys could point me in the right direction that would be great cuz right now these are my facial expressions:loco: :confused: :tweak:

im not looking for headlights. im looking for the cornering lights on each side of the head lights im wondering if german and us cornering lights are different

No, corner lights are the same for all markets.

they have "crystal" ones that would look cooler than stock, might match better. gpsports uras etc. sell them

I think I know this kat. .. .unless its another duke from the socal running a zenki converted hatch. .. .but anyhow, Final conxion has the complete conversion (in hard Plastic) to give off the full potential of the head & side lamps

You might as well use the Final Konnexion clear covers if you're gonna put projectors in them. Pain in the ass to get them though and a rip off getting it from the online stores. I have the euro headlights w/ the clear covers but I think clear cover looks better w/ clear headlight...euro would probably look better w/ gpsports.

Any post links to where you can buy the URAS and/or GP SPORTS clear corner lights for the zenki s14? I've seen those "euro" clear ones on ebay before, but I wasn't aware a reputable company made them. I'm actually considering maybe an amber or smoked vinyl overlay or spray paint and also wiring them up so that they act as blinkers....

I checked jspec, raretrick, google but I couldn't find anything....

I guess I misread what people were saying in this thread then.... did they mean gpsports/uras kits?


ok whatever, the bottom line is those, those corners are pointless and with a clear or amber bulb they look like shit when lit....

Maybe i'll try taking a spray can to them and color them differently...

Projectsilvia might be able to get them as well but they are $$.

If you want to change the way they light up maybe try leds like clearcorners. Painting them ain't gonna make it light up any prettier.

Ehh, I have better places on the car to spend $$$$ right now..


As for making them "prettier', I didn't really mean it in that kind of gay way, rather, with the standard amber or clear bulb, the color looks really off at night, especially with the bright headlights and yellow fogs.... painting the lense all amber or smoking them out would at least give it a pronounced color... I think for now, i'm going to wire them up to my turn signals so that they blink as well.

As for leds, I actually picked up a pair of bulbs and resistors from superbrightleds.com to use on my blinkers to brighten them up a bit, being they are so dim...I followed the instructions checked and made sure the contacts and resistors were done properly, but they never worked... f-it, I threw them away... waste of 30 something dollars imo....

lol, "people" didnt say it in this thread, I did. they SELL them, they dont make them. every shop in japan can get thoes if you want. just like s14 euros. of course parking lights are pointless, they put out no light.

lol, just goes to show how much I pay attention to people sometimes..

anyway, yea that was my point, the parking lights are pointless given how much light they don't put out.

PM me I have a set of the URAS Clear Corner Lights in-stock for a Zenki... They are plastic.... all are plastic: Aftermarket, JDM, USDM, and German!!
Only the Headlights are Glass.

the cornerlights are the same as usdm or jdm. j30 upgrade looks ugly.
