I'm about to replace the clutch, and my mechanic friend told me that its very important to know this...I've never done a clutch myself so I have no idea. Any help would be awesome thanks!

Yes they do. it is in the end of the crank, and it is a bitch to get the old one out. Unless you are a fabricator and are able to make your own tools =)

You can borrow a pilot bearing puller from Autozone or Kragen. It's just a slide hammer with an adapter at the end.

the wet paper towel trick. soak alot of paper towels in water and cram them in the hole. keep forcing them in there and the pressure will force out the bearing.
or so i've been told. it sounded stupid as hell to me, so i just rented a pilot bearing puller.
