My steering wheel shakes badly at 70mph. It's only at 70ish too. 65-68mph is fine, and anything above 73mph is fine too. My tires are balanced and are all at 33psi. I replaced my tie rod ends yesterday and got an alignment. I thought this would ameliorate the problem, but the shaking remains. My guess is the that the tires are worn since the alignment was off a bit. Could something be wrong with the steering rack or any other front suspension parts? I figured if something was wrong with these things, the alignment place would've let me know.

Have you checked your wheel bearings? Standing in front of your wheel, grab the sides and shake it towards and away from you, there should be no loose play.

Maybe steering rack bushing is bad?

Or could just be the uneven tread wear of your tires. Do you have another set of balanced wheels/tires that you can put on and see if you still get the shaking?
