i just want to know what's a good tire width for the stock SE wheel, or the max width u can run, as well as profile?

edit: also, who knows the weight of the SE wheel and the hub cap wheels?

I think I saw a post on FA about someone going to 225 but said 235 was risky. I saw a 02 BMW with 275 last weekend...... lets just say I about wet myself, shit it look cool.

It may just be me, but I'd rather have a car with a front end than new tires &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

so i take it the answer is... 195 is what it comes with stock, 205 is a common upgrade and 225 the biggest you can go in a 92's stock alloys rite??? and the profile it comes with 55s i think stock.. i had 50's but how low can u go? u would prob be ok going 40-45 rite? check! and for tires? what tires have u guys been doing??

The SE s13 wheel is a 6.5 inch wide rim. 205/50/15 is the largest I would go, otherwise going with 225/50/15 would offer too much sidewall bulge. Your handling will suffer.

I personally know of people who have put 225/50 on stock s13 se wheels, but thats taxing width of the wheel.

misnomer

I'm playing 205/60/r15 on mine (up from the factory 195/60). Much good, I don't recommend wider.

I'm running 205/55/15's on stock se wheels. &nbsp;I went with a little smaller sidewall to reduce flex, and to keep tire diameter right. &nbsp; If you go with a smaller side wall on the stock wheels your going to add wheel gap, AND change your speedometer gearing.
