So I was chillin outside BSin and lookin at my car when a friend of mines like, "DAMN you have a lot of rear camber!" I was like what. . . and wouldnt you know it its like way to much. Anyway I jacked it up and I got a nasty surprise.

Both left and right cracked in the same place. Bad materials. These are battle versions also. I got them from Alex personally. He had a demo car with these on it and I bought the car from him with all the linkage. Its funny because these are S14 style with the loop only going arround one side. Pretty interesting.

Those just don't look like BV arms to me. I'm obviously not saying you didn't buy the car from Alex since I'm sure there is no doubt about it, but those arms just don't look like his for some reason.

thats janky as hell.

Poor choice of material.

aggreed. These may have been a prototype (sp?) and the materials may have been not up to the standards of the newer stuff. I'm going cusco for my new stuff.

Off topic: Why did you go with the s14 style. I always thought the s13 type was stronger?

i'm guessing b/c that's what came with the car. also are s13 and s14 interchangalbe? if so, why would anyone want the 1 bar s14 style? the only reason i see is b/c ease of installation and i don't see why it is that hard for the other style

Those where one of the first sets made and yes, they are made out of weaker material.

The original run of those parts was made with ERW tubing and that type has a seam in it. I bent one of the original ones at a track day when those parts first came out. Then I replaced the tubing sections for DOM tubing and increased the wall thickness. I also changed the die I used to bend them to a wider radius so as not to put as much stress on the tube while bending it.

I havent had a problem with them since but there are still about 10 of the original sets running around. Even if you have the grey color ones, you still cant tell just by looking at it if its the original ones.

DJpimpflex, just email me your info and I'll ship some new ones.

When I bought my ruca's from Alex I really needed a set of RUCA's that week and I drove up to autolink to pick up my coilovers and they were all out so I headed over to phase2 and they didnt have any in stock so I called Alex at home and he told me to come by and pick them up. Talk about awesome customer service.

Kazama rods are cool but on some of them not sure if the RUCA is this way one side of the adjustment is course thread and the other is fine so it doesnt adjust as precise or even as the BV ones. Just something to think about.

i was just going say how I was convinced that no company out there puts out a indestructive product for suspension parts and how I was going to get the ebay ones cause all others are all going to bust anyway...

but this really impressed me, i will be going with Battle Version.

+1 for service

They should have sold you one side if you asked for it. They have been ordering individual peices from me for people who crashed thier cars, but that has been recently, maybe they didnt want to do that in the past. If anything you can always hit me up directly. I'm just not home alot of times so dont pannic if I dont email you guys back right away.
