temp gauge not working (s14 sr20)

ok i have a 89 240sx and i recently put it a s14 sr20det zenki motor. I did switch out the coolant temp sensor by the throttle body. I'm assuming it's the engine sensor. But my need is pegged all the way below C*, it never goes up. Maybe stuck thermostat or air bubbles in the system? Does anyone have any insight?

i had the same problem in my s14 sr20de swap. try changing the thermostat. i dout its a air bubble!

tried that today, Still not working.

But... can anyone tell me what temp sensor i should be using, just to make sure i'm using the right sensor.

also when i drive my car for like 15 minutes to get it to operating temp. It idles fine at startup but after 15 minutes of spirited driving it idles like shit. So i know the cts has got to be the problem.
