Well someone slim-jim'ed my 240 <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> and broke the locks. I got it open but the locks are disconnected. I was wondering if there are any online tutorials for removing the door panels? I also wanted to take a look at a bad window that may have slipped out of the track or something.
Any help is appreciated <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>
Thx.

ah, lucky you, i did this operation many times, smashed window, install remote door locks, install door panel speakers.
the only thing is... i have an s13, so if you have s13, this is what you do...
use a flat-head screw driver to pop the plastic coving in the door handle (where u hold to close the door), there will be a philips screw in there, unscrew that.
use a flat-head screw driver to pop open the cover on another bolt that's towards the door hindge, it should be just below where the side mirror is. u'll see it, after u pop the cap open, use a philips screw to unbolt that bolt
and on the passanger side, there's an extra handle, use a philips screw driver to lossen the screw up top, than turn it about 1/4 of a turn, than it comes off.
now, reach on the bottom of the door, and pull the panel towards you, u'll hear pops, 'cause these things are held in by those crazy plastic thing that pops in (not a clue what it's called), and than start pulling the panel on the sides, and lastly, when you reach the top, lift the botom up, than the top should unhook.

They're universal, I use the ones for GM cars.
Just go to an autoparts store.
BTW: The american aftermarket ones fit a bit tighter but u need a trim remover.

Yeah I dont know about an S13 has the same ones but in my S14 I took out all the padding and carpet bnut ended up breaking one of the little snap on things(no clue what they are called) but they are just rounded on the top and are VERY hard to get off. But where can i get some new ones I have broken a couple.
Sorry if my description is really bad but I dont know how else to describe them.
Thanks

Well i dunno about those particular parts but when i needed the little metal trim clips, Nissan told me I had to buy the entire trim piece.
Good thing I found a nest of them by the fuse panel!
What I'm getting at is "Good luck, 'cause you're probably fugged" <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

One screw behind the door handle, then remove plastic piece very carefully.
One screw in door "grasp" area, remove and pull out that plastic piece, remembering to remove window control harness from it.
One body plug on very outside of door, 4 screws on very bottom of door all the way across.
Put hands on bottom of door (where the 4 screws were) and give a sharp tug towards you.

I suggest buying a trim remover; it's like a very wide screwdriver.
It's a lot cheaper than a broken trim piece... <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
