Gauges that will not the SR20DET

I'm trying to hook up some gauges, here, and it's not going too well.  I have an oil pressure, and a water temperture gauge, both Autometer, and both electric.  The problem is that both the stock pressure sender and the stock temperature sender have a different thread size than the autometer replacements.  Autometer includes different sized adapters, but they are just different sized pipe threads, not metric, like we need.  Furthermore, you need a tee to mount the new oil pressure sending unit, because of how close it will be to the oil filter.  You'd think that with all the imports using Autometer gauges, there would be adapters for these gauges that fit our cars...
If anyone has any secret methods to making these fit, please let me know.  thanks everyone.
