Wow, if I had a car like that it wouldn't be a project, it'd be my work of art, and my life.

i started gathering parts for my ka-t in winter of '04/'05. i just recently dropped it off at the shop to wrap up the last few things. should be on the road within the month, but well see how it goes.

school really put a damper on everything. working and having money definately simplifies it.

I'm sure everyone's car on here is an ongoing project. It's never really finished, because there's always something else you would like to add to it.

First post of the Picture Thread. My car has been in it's primered state for over 2 years now. I recently recieved some significant funds and it should look very different by Summer. It may never be "complete" though. Something can always be replaced or improved, especially when you are working with a small budget. By the time you can afford that new part you've been saving for, the first part you bought is starting to age.

agreed....I've actually been working on it more and more lately but it's just too freaking cold outside for me. Either that or I'm out of town working.

If you were talking about the wheels that were on the Jtuned site or the R34 that were on the front, those were I believe ... I have no clue lol.... Now its sitting on the Work Emitz wheelies.

I think I'll just drive it w/ the fender like that lol... unique?

battle scar!

i love the flares, btw. widebody imo only looks good if you mold them on, & then fill in all other dents and shit all over and respray the whole thing, cuz if you dont that's a lot of exposed rivets on that big panel thats sure to not color match the rest of the car.

I have had my 240 for over a year, between work and other expenses, the car has taken much longer than expected. Im building my SR to around 500hp, S13.5 conversion, and a parts list that still is indefinite you know how it goes, oh look at this, wow this just came out, this one or that one. Yea thats my delema most of all. Anyway Im on a steady pace right now, and it should be comming along soon.
So far the parsts list is
555cc injectors
T3/T4 Turbo
RS-R springs(for sale when new suspension is purchased)
Nismo FPR
HKS Exaust 3" downpipe back 5" outlet

My car will continue to be a project for probably as long as I'll own it.

I have a "project" 914 that is currently for sale because the S13 project sucks up 95% of my money.

the fastback I bought a little over 3 years ago (holy shit that long already?) is sitting in a garage in Idaho. and the ae86 I got a year ago has just barely begun its future transformation. I just gave the head from a redtop 4ag I bought a couple weeks ago to get P+P, then the cams go to crower, then it will sit in my motorhome for a pretty long time while I save up more money.

sucks that you dont drive the car. I remember first seeing the car when i went on a roadtrip to visit some family in socal about 3 years ago. We stopped in alhambra to get something to eat before heading the rest of the way to san diego and i saw his car parked accross the street. I went over to take a look and take some pics and he ended up coming out to talk with me a bit about his car.

I've got three projects on the go (including mine)...all 240SX's and all three are engine swaps or a new engine. I'm NEVER going to finish my own car...it's been in the garage for 6-7 months now, and I only have a little over 2 months to finish it (and the other 2) before I'm gone for 8 more months.

swaps are: 91 240 coupe=SR20DET
93 240 hatch=SR20DET
93 240 hatch=KA24DE-T

I have got a 1989 240sx SE currently waiting for funds so I can get the rad support pulled due to an incident with a 98 Chevy Malibu. Then it's I have to strip it down and send it away to get the entire car sandblasted. Once the cage is in then I will be painted and then the real fun starts.

Removing all unused wiring, 300Hp SOHC with a 3 page parts list...

getting my S15 core support installed, engine bay re-epoxied, primered, and painted while waiting on getting the funds to send the motor out to enjuku. Selling my winter car, 88 200SX to buy my GT35R, all S15 parts and aero have been bought and paid for, complete with an OEM hood. Got the roof swapped out after and unfortunate deer accident 2 years ago, that I did this summer. All Im waiting for now is to get the SR built, N1 coilovers, an LSD, and paint and the car is ready to go. My project has been started and finished twice already since 01 and this will be the third over all facelift. Totalled 35,000 in receipts and they keep piling up......

This is how far I've gotten in ONE YEAR-

http://www.escic.com/240sx/kitchen1.jpg

It really is coming to an end though and it will be done by the end of this month. EverythingNissan.com sent out the last of the stuff I need last Friday. So next week begins the assembly process.
