I'm geting ready to do a 5spd. swap and have bascially have all I need (except the tranny itself...it's on the way). What I am wondering is since I am removing an auto tranny from an SR20, will I have to replace the pilot bearing with a manual one? and if the answer is yes, will a pilot bearing from a 5spd. KA work by any chance? And if anyone knows of any other issues I may run into mating the engine and 5spd. trans, I would sure appreciate the heads up. Thanks.

you'll need an sr flywheel and flywheel bolts first of all.
buy a clutch kit for the sr. it should contain clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and pilot bearing and spline alignment tool.
(yes you will need a manualk pilot bearing).

I have a manual flywheel and bolts. I bought a clutch kit for the SR, and had not opened it yet. So after reading the previous post, I did...and found a pilot bearing. I felt like it was christmas. Well, I feel a little silly now. Thanks anyway.
