maybe i'm just not using common sense on this one, but i'll ask just to be sure..

I found a guy in a local forum selling some 17x9 inch volks. Right now I have RS*R Race/Koni setup for my suspension, if I put these wheels on my s13 in place of my stock 7-spokes wouldn't my ride height increase quite a bit? And if so, wouldn't that throw off the balance of the car? guess i shoulda saved up for coillovers :duh:

It wouldn't matter really. Just get coilovers if it bothers you that much.

The height will only change is the height of the tires are different. If the wheels are differrent sizes it doesn't mean shit.

Buy some coilovers instead... UNLESS they're cheap TE37s or CE28Ns. Then buy them and save for coilovers.
