The drivers are much better in Fifth Gear and their reviews tend to be more race track oriented. Top Gear has more humor though and probably appeals to a wider audience.

Top Gear wins by far as far as entertainment and humor go. Jeremy is a fucking god. I love when her refers to himself as "a fat bloke" hahahah. great stuff.

oh and the DB9R(which is currently my desktop backgroud) episode was my second favorite. Second only to the Areil Atom.

There's actually been a couple of Stigs. He used to be in a black suit. The old ones retired and they have the new white Stig. Rumors are that the new guy might be a rally driver as he drifts and is comfortable going off track a lot more than the previous drivers.

I heard during filming, the stig is locked away in a room so people dont accidentally wander in and see him w/o helmet or snap a photo.

In that episode, it was a Norwegian snow mobile jumper. LOL. All the car driving is the real Stig though. Supposedly he's ex-F1, and he's actually set the fastest time ever on the "reasonably priced" F1 drivers board. So yeah... he's not too bad of a driver. I bet they pay him assloads also. I mean shit, its BBC.
