Nismo LSD + Motul Syn?

Anybody use Motul Synthetic 75-90 in their Nismo GT/GT pro/SSS?
Short on time, and the store was out of redline so I decided to try it.
BUUUUuuuUUuuuut
Mine clunks like a mofo!

Not enough fluid? (1.5Q in there before it started overflowing)
Friction Modifyer needed?

What weight Redline were you using? Motul should be comparable to Redline if not better.

See that's what I was thinking but... still the clunk continues.

Maybe friction modifyer is what I need.....

Just drain it back into the MOTUL bottle and sell it on cl for $10.

Yeah just add whatever friction modifier to your lsd and the clunking should silence a whole lot. if that doesn't work, then just find some redline haha.

my diff clunked like crraazzzyy before i put in friction modifier.

just get redline.... its worth it... mine clunks now cause i drained it and put in regular gear oil.... back to redline... soon...

you definitely are not supposed to used just regular gear oil w/o a friction modifier
