I am thinking of getting the t/c rods from PDM but i want to know if anyone has the Whiteline poly. bushings and how much of a difference it made in the front? Did it make the ride harsher and how much. Like if you go on a road trip does it bother you. I am trying to decide if i want to get poly or stay OEM.
thanks for your help

I have whiteline poly t/c rod bushings on their way to me right now. I don't expect it to make the ride any harsher nor do I see how it would. Its supposed to make the steering more responsive. I honesly dono what else you gain by getting them. I just got them cauz my current ones are busted. I'll be sure to post atleast 5 times about them when they come in <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>

I'm hopeing he just gave me the wrong tracking # but the weight looks right. Damnit! I wanted them this week...

I'm in the process of installing them right now. Just getting the bolts loose...
I'll keep u updated; the consensus is that they make steering more responsive but u feel a lot more; so fatigue might be an issue, I'm not concerned.

DSC, how you know the ones you got were busted? does your car sway back and forth on highway speeds? that's what happens to my car..
Physically looking at them, you can see that they are cracked. They also make a "clunk" sound under hard, low speed turns (maybe high speed to but I can't hear it)...that is the "tell tail" sign that they are bad. Also at freeway speeds my steering wheel shakes and overall my stearing is unstable.
Some of that is most likely due the my alignment being out of wack, caused by the bad t/c rod bushings. (constantly changeing toe...)

The poly bushings will not hurt ride comfort at all. I have pillowball t/c rods, and if anything they would be more harsh than poly bushings since there is NO play. The make steering tighter, and allow the car to respond quicker to smaller inputs. I noticed no noticable difference in ride comfort.

cool i was asking about the stearing difference and the fatigue you would feel from more data coming to you throught the stearing wheel.
Thanks for all the help and anymore that ppl might give

If anything you'll be less fatigued b/c blown bushings are gonna cause a lot more feedback than good ones.

I dont think the feeling will change too much with the t/c rods. Its more of a solution for the silicone filled bushing leaking problem associated with the OEM bushings. Meowth and I went all out and got the pillowball t/c rods (just metal pillow ball bushing). rides a bit stiffer, but car feels more responsive, and on top of that it makes caster adjustable. worth the money IMO.
