low oil pressure: when driving on the interstate yesterday/today @3krpm my oil pressure is only 45psi this seems pretty low to me... what is the normal pressure and what would cause it to be like this?

glowing turbo: after i noticed my oil pressure was below normal, i pulled over at a gas station and popped the hood, and to my surprise, my turbo was glowing, but the runners were normal, no discoloration and actually had some white to it... i was like wtf...

any ideas on any of these things? my oil pressure has been like this for a little bit, so i thought it was maybe a bad oil pickup because the one i had was a little bent, so i replaced it night before last and at the same time put on an oil restrictor to my turbo b/c the place i bought my turbo from said i needed a restrictor on it...

sounds like the feed line might be clogged...

Be very careful and try not to drive the car like that.....

my oil pressure stays around 50 psi unless im idleing or in higher rpms, sounds normal to me. ive had mine for a year now and no problems at 50 psi.

ok, thats good then, and the oil line doesn't seem to be clogged, and if it were, i think my turbo would have been making very bad sonds after a few minutes of it being starved of oil...
could timing be an issue?
thanks for the help guys
