Hi, my name is Ryan, Im 22 and I go to NHCTC in manchester NH for welding technology. A friend I met at school got me into s13's and turbo motors, and Ive been researching them ever since.

He mentioned something about there being an old thread on this board talking about ca18det's and how they pressurize the head under high revs or something or other (allows to much oil up into the valvetrain, but not enough back down into the block) A catch can will obviously alleviate this to some point if its done properly with one way valves etc.. But in that thread I was told there was talk of drilling the oil return a bigger diameter for a better fix.

I have searched for this thread enlessley and I cannot find it! Computers own me what can I say. One day, Ill get the hang of this shit. I am getting much better at searching thats for sure! Not good enough though If I cant find this damn thread!

If you know of its location, a link would greatly be appreciated.

thanks

Ryan

nothing for me huh?

I have my motor completely torn down at the moment waiting for bearings, so this would be an ideal time to adress that problem if there is one.
