I am soon going to get some Tanabe S-S coilovers type 2 for my s14. Any people have these and can give me any cons or pros about these coilovers. i only have around $1000. Anything better than the S-S that are around 1000. i was also think about lowering it only 1 1/2 inches cuz of daily driving. too low or too high? so cal roads are shitty. thanks
any advices??

I've been looking at those coils too. I'm waiting for a certain FRIEND (BRIAN) to get back to me with a price.
I'm gonna SEARCH for some reviews.
Take a look at the new Stance coilovers that Touge Factory is selling. They are $1200 and appear to be built very well. Check out some of the other threads about them.

i have the pro SS on my s13. good for daily driving, sometimes feels too soft for hard cornering. still feel the bumps on freeways. don't think the pro SS or the type II comes with pillow ball mounts F/R,its optional which means you'll spend another 500 on those so i say look for other coilovers that are just as good in the price range of 1200-1500 like stance, powertrix, or silkroad

Driven on them...(not my car)
bumpy...
two rears and one front coil blew after 4 months of DDing and a little tracking.
