i don't have the time to waste to read that whole thing, but the guy's a dumbass if he thinks he can hit 300mph, hell the bugatti veyron has 1000 horsepower and can just barely break 250mph and he thinks he can it hit 300 with 1250?. $2.5 million wouldn't be enough to cover wind tunnel time to achieve the necessary aerodynamics, though I doubt he'll be doing any wind tunnel work.

yeah, about 264mph. Do you know how much raw horsepower it takes to move a top speed from 260mph to 261mph? SHITLOADS, the HP requirements are exponential when moving the top speed up. Also, they actually lost top speed and stability when they changed the design of the side mirrors, so they switched them back. Trust me that this car is engineered to the fullest.
