I used to go fishing at the piers all the time. It's fun.

I think this should be in Regionals, since you're asking OC people.

Then lets just change this to "fishing tips"

Myself, as my own habit when fishing, is to tug back and forth in opposite directions when reeling them in.

My idea on that is when the fish are going to try and escape, i'll be pulling in cadance with them, so more harmony on the line, less chances of it snapping, or the fish getting away with a free meal.

I haven't gone fishing in forever, Last time I went deep sea fishing was CRAZY, I didn't get a break for the entire day, I caught like 30 sea bass.

I hate pier fishing because I don't catch anything, and the asian women are filling up 5 gallon buckets like something that fills something up effortlessly.

^ best analogy ever.

Fly fishing is fun too, but no where to do that in so cal.

they use these lines with little green hairs on the hooks. they work fucking crazy. i know how to make them with my eyes closed. usually you only catch mackarels and sardines with those. i use them to catch me live bait

i know a really really really long pier that goes into the the coronado bay in SD. its illegal to fish there but bay police dont mind. they have plenty of sand sharks, sting rays, bat rays, and plenty of fun catches. of course you dont wanna eat them since they are in the bay but its a great fishing experience.

best time to go is high tide usually around 10pm-3am usually.

but id be down for some other fishing. i used to go alot in high school
