am looking to sell or trade my 1990 nissan 240sx. It has 210,xxx miles and motor and tranny run great. I have only had it for about a month now but I need something that I wont wanna put a whole lot of cash into, plus I need the extra cash for renting my own place. The car was recently primered but I cant afford to paint it. The body is almost perfect as you can see in pics.

Suspension was switched with Tein springs and tokico blue shocks with nismo upper mounts

Has full interior that is blue. Has working A/C and NO SUNROOF ^_^

3 of the 4 wheels are SE wheels. I have yet to find a fourth since I bought it with only 2.

Bad stuff: bushings could use replacing... car is old so its to be expected. Headlights dont go down, I replaced switch inside car that didnt work so im assuming headlight motor is bad. Stock everything minus the suspension and rear carpet was pretty dirty when I bought it so I jsut took it out. I still have it tho..

the car I would want to trade for is a 1991 to 1994 sentra SE-R. Depending on condition it can be a straight up trade or car plus cash kinda thing. Asking price for the car is $2500. I am deff not interested in shipping the car, and as for trading vehicles with you I would obviously prefer ppl local to Bay Area.. Socal wouldnt be that much of a problem either.

I forgot to mention, If you want to lower the price, or your jsut not interested in purchasing the car with the suspension upgrades, I can remove it and put the stock stuff back in. There in fine shape and would just put the car back to stock.

You're probably asking too much. I saw the price and didn't think twice and said thats way too high. Especially for all the things wrong with it.

all the things wrong with it? The headlights are a simple fix.... You make it sound like the car is falling apart? Thanks anyways tho...

Everyone on this sight knows different locations = different prices if someone wanted the car for a different price they would most likely make an offer. Which ppl have done. But like most ppl its always uh I can make payments.. or uhh I will get you the money in a week.

Car is still for sale... if you dont liek the price, make an offer. ^_^

The most I'd offer is probably $1,100. But I'm not interested in yours. I'm just trying to help. Good luck though.

id give you 1200 picked up for it..as long as i am able to drive it to socal, but if your $2100 price is FIRM, thats just too much for that car, in my opinion..

you guys are crazy.. this is a good running vehicle with no mechanical problems... just because it doesnt have paint doesnt mean im gonna give it away. The only thing on the car that does not work properly is a freakin headlight motor.

i think its because of the mileage on the car that make people ask you to lower your price... plus you only had the car for about a month..

also, keep in mind the blue book value of the car. if you want to sell the car at $2000, and somebody offers you $1500, don't use the excuse, "i'll loose $500 if i sell at $1500." honestly, you don't lose anything. $1500 is at least $100 more than blue book value. if anything, you are gaining $100.

Like I said already I would rather not sell the car... specially since I just bought it. But its either fix up my 510 or fix up this. I cant do both.

As for bluebook, everyone likes to bring that up but when you sell your own car.. ud be doing the same thing.

Thx for all the input guys... I have 2 more offers just waiting for ppl to actually come through.

that's why the blue book exists. it's a guide so people know the price range of a car. I took a look at the blue book value of my van, and i sold it for blue book value.
