I remember looking around the forums a while ago and i thought i saw somebody's FB rocking these things. Were they off ebay and painted or something? I searched but I couldn't find them. Just want to look at them again and see how they were done. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You might have mistaken them for these, Kouki taillights:

... I believe you're looking for the euro tails. It's very simple to find. Look on Ebay, type in 240sx tails, and you'll find a plethora of euro tails. They're rice, but they're only $60 rice instead of $500 rice.

Are these the lights you are referring to? If so try contacting Realnez since that is his car he posted in the picture thread. Imagine that, I found a picture in the Picture Thread.

When I helped my friend paint the altezza lights, first we used very fine grit sandpaper, then wet sanded down the whole surface.
After that we cleaned it down with denatured alcohol and a 100% lint free cloth.
Once you've finish prepping the surface you'll want to prepare the spray paint.
Now being as how I get paint lexan for free, I figured what the hell lets see what happens; you can use any transparent red paint it doesn't really matter.
But I chose to use Tamiya Translucent Frost red (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXFFV6&P=7). Always when you're spraying, make sure to shake the can for a couple minutes, run it under hot water then, proceed to shake the can again.
With your first coat go very lightly at about 8~10" away. Don't worry about how it looks. This is only for adhesion.
Let that dry. Then proceed to go with another coat. Repeat 4x
After you've covered the whole light, it's time for clear coat.
We used enamel clear coat, but be warned, I do not suggest mixing diffrent types of paint. Being as how I wasn't sure what the outcome would be, I mixed the two on a spair piece of plastic just to be sure.
After I was sure no problems would arise, we sprayed three coats of clear.
Let dry and you're finished.
As for the center garnish, to get the kouki type reverse lights, you'll just need to cut out some masking tape and place them over the bulbs. Spray using the method above, then remove the tape slowly and spray everything with clear.
If you have any questions, feel free to pm me.
