Ok i bought s14 front spindles and hubs and rear s14 hubs, All i need for the front is the s14 lower ball joint to be pressed into my s13 lca, will a r32 gtst lca ball joint work for me? I already have them because they came off my clip or do i have to buy s14 ball joints? Also will a stock s14 rear rotors work with the stock s13 rear calipers? My freind gave me his stock s14 rear rotors i just don't feel like redrilling my stock rotors.

thanks

Dunno if R32 GTST balljoints would work... I wouldn't want to install used ones though. Get them new and have peace of mind. You can also run the S14 lca with balljoint aswell. The S14 rotors will work just fine.

keep in mind that s14 lca's are slightly longer than s13 lca's, so you'll have a bit more neg camber w/ s14 lca's.

15mm longer.

The thing is i don't want to spend extra money on new ball joints if the skyline ones will work just fine.

The try it and see, only two bolts.

R32 lower control arms bolt onto S13's and if I am not mistaken are the same length. They are from the same time period and both chassis's did come off the same assembly line. Check it out, measure your s13 control arm and then measure the R32, but I am pretty sure its a straight crossover i.e. just bolt it in.

yeah but my main question is will the skyline r32 balljoint bolt up to my s14 front spindle? Because if its the same as the s13 ball joint it won't work with the s14 spindle

I think you're confusing ball joints with bearings, I would most definately change the bearings before I would change the balljoints. Eye ball the joints, if they look damaged then you should change them.

As for the balljoint. Since most of the parts on R32 transfer over to S13, and the R33 parts transfer over to S14s. Use that as a reference to decide whether or not the ball joints will or won't fit.

why use s14 spindles when you can just buy these http://www.store.yahoo.com/phase2motorsports/pepest5lughu.html 350 for the front they bolt in the s13 spindles

Why doesn't he just BUY those? Because he already bought the stuff he's talking about.

but why buy all the s14 parts and have to swap out all of them just to get 5 lugs when you can just replace a hub why do more work when you dont have to let alone spend more money for junk yard parts

No R32 wont fit.
Use S14.
Also never reused old ball joints.

true...stock s13 (and R32 for that matter) suspensions are so rotten, they pretty much all need new joints/bushings/spacers.

Maybe he got it all free from a parts car. Maybe he paid for it with a blowjob in the parking lot. Maybe he found them in his backyard under a tree.

Point is, the rears have to be swapped regardless so what's a few more bolts up front?

Quit being fucking useless when posting in a thread.
